Kaya N. McGee

About
Attorney Kaya McGee is a Virginia native, who received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech. There, she studied history with a concentration in social, cultural, and economic history, graduating Cum Laude. After graduation, she took a gap year to volunteer at a local museum and campaign for a delegate’s reelection.
Kaya then moved out west to attend the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law. During her time at the University of Denver, she was a student attorney for the Community Economic Development Clinic, where she assisted nonprofits and small business owners in business law issues and business development. She also explored various areas of law through internships including administrative law, employment law, business law, and family law. Through these experiences, she discovered her passion for helping families and working through complex asset divisions.
In her free time, Kaya enjoys baking, traveling, and playing with her pup, Poppy.
