Jeremy Monckton
A Fresh, Modern Approach to LawAbout
Attorney Jeremy Monckton was born and raised in Central Florida, where he received his undergraduate and law degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee. He began his legal career as a law clerk at the Third District Court of Appeals in Miami—eventually, however, the mountains came calling so Jeremy went.
After arriving in Colorado in 2015, he worked for the court system for over five years, where he served pro se litigants and worked closely with multiple judicial officers on domestic relations, civil, and criminal dockets. Since leaving the judicial department, Jeremy has dedicated his practice exclusively to family law, including dissolution of marriage, child custody, child support, adoptions, and more.
Jeremy understands that family law clients are often dealing with the most difficult time in their lives, and he strives to practice with kindness and empathy. He focuses on helping his clients resolve their cases amicably, but will not back down from from aggressively representing those clients in litigation when required by the actions of an opposing party.
A rabid sports fan, Jeremy particularly loves football and his beloved Buffalo Bills, but he quickly adopted hockey and the Colorado Avalanche. He is a lifelong musician and a passionate fan of all types of music, and he enjoys trivia, films, snowboarding, and spending his free time outside.
